Outdoor Electrical Box Cover

The crew installing fiber optic Internet cable to our house ran their trenching machine into one of the 4x4 wood posts along our driveway. This left a gash and broke the plastic cover on the electrical box.

After repairing the post gash, I designed and 3D-printed a replacement cover for the electrical box.

The original cover is bulbous so power cords can remain plugged in. But we always unplug the cord, so we don't need this feature. I designed the new cover as a simple shallow tray that pivots on the same hinges as the original.
